About Joseph
Joseph Tojarieh built his legal foundation at two Southern California schools. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Those years shaped his understanding of public policy and courtroom practice. They also anchored his approach to casework: methodical, evidence-driven and attentive to clients’ real-life concerns.
He is licensed to practice in California. Early in his career he handled a mix of civil matters that exposed him to both consumer and employment issues. Over time his caseload leaned toward disputes between individuals and businesses. He developed a practical sense for litigation strategy and settlement negotiation. He also learned how to explain complicated legal rules in plain terms, a skill clients regularly cite as useful.
Tojarieh maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and Consumer Lawyers of California, and he also belongs to the California Employment Lawyers Association. Those affiliations reflect the kinds of matters he sees most often: claims stemming from consumer transactions, workplace disputes and statutory protections under state law. He participates in continuing education through those groups and attends meetings and panels when schedules allow.
At the Tojarieh Law Office, PC, he handles individual and small-business matters. His work includes drafting complaints, answering filings, taking depositions and preparing motions. He spends time investigating facts and assembling documentary evidence before litigation begins. When cases can be resolved without a trial, he pursues negotiated settlements. When settlement is not possible, he prepares for trial and seeks to present a clear narrative to judges and juries.
Colleagues describe him as deliberate in planning and direct in communication. Clients see him as an attorney who prioritizes clarity about potential outcomes and costs. He writes and speaks about practical litigation tactics at local bar events and contributes to internal office training. In his current practice he continues to represent consumers and employees in claims under California law, concentrating on resolving disputes through both negotiation and litigation.
