Joseph Farzam is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2000 and holds bar number 210817. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Farzam is the founder and senior trial attorney at the Farzam Law Firm, a personal injury and employment law firm located in Los Angeles, California. He has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients throughout Southern California and other states.
Mr. Farzam earned his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2000. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Northridge, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1997. During his time at Pepperdine, he graduated with high marks and passed the California bar exam on his first attempt.
Mr. Farzam concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, employment law, maritime law, and class action litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and premises liability claims. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Farzam has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before various state courts across the country through the pro hac vice process. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years.
Mr. Farzam is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA). He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine from 2017 to 2025 and has received The Litigator Awards. Mr. Farzam is fluent in English, Persian (Farsi), and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
