About Jorge
Jorge Guardado built the foundation for his legal career at Thomas Aquinas College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2011, and at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated with a J.D. in 2014. Those years shaped his approach to legal reasoning and introduced him to the routines of case research and writing. He left law school prepared for the demands of practice, comfortable with intensive statutory and case law study and the drafting tasks that occupy many young lawyers' days.
After completing his education, Guardado entered practice in California. He is licensed to practice in that state and joined Rodriguez & Tran, LLP as an associate. At the firm he moved into the steady rhythm of private practice. His work there has involved the kinds of assignments that typically fall to associates: factual investigation, legal research, client communications and drafting court filings. Colleagues describe him as methodical and attentive to detail in preparing materials for hearings and negotiations.
On any given week Guardado balances research and drafting with meetings and courtroom preparation. He spends time compiling records, drafting pleadings and briefs, and preparing exhibits and deposition summaries. He also supports senior attorneys in trial preparation and in the development of case strategy. Those tasks require a mix of patience and precision. He has grown comfortable translating complex legal points into clearer written arguments and practical guidance for clients.
Today Guardado continues his work at Rodriguez & Tran, LLP as an associate. He contributes to the firm’s caseload through case preparation and client work, assisting on matters brought to the firm and helping manage the procedural and substantive steps that move a file forward. He currently practices at Rodriguez & Tran, LLP, where he works as an associate handling client matters for the firm.
