About Jonathan
Jonathan Ng earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick/Piscataway before moving south to pursue a law degree at the University of Miami School of Law. He completed his J.D. in Miami, where he was exposed to a mix of state and federal practice given the court systems and legal culture of South Florida. Those formative years framed the practical and doctrinal grounding he would carry into practice.
After law school, Ng entered the bar environments of two states. He is licensed to practice in Florida and in New Jersey. Practicing across state lines has shaped how he approaches cases. He learned to respect procedural differences and the practical realities that vary from one jurisdiction to the next. That background informs how he prepares filings and advises clients on jurisdictional strategy.
Ng maintains current memberships in professional associations and takes part in continuing legal education to stay current on developments in both Florida and New Jersey law. He has engaged in seminars and local bar events where practitioners exchange practical tips and updates. His involvement keeps him connected to peers and to the evolving rules and precedents that affect everyday practice.
Colleagues describe Ng as methodical in building a case file and precise in pleadings and motions. He balances attention to procedural detail with a sense for timing. He is comfortable working through discovery and briefing complex points of law. His practice has required coordinating with local counsel when matters span state lines and adapting to differing court procedures and local rules.
In private practice he handles matters that arise under the laws of Florida and New Jersey and addresses issues that involve litigation, administrative proceedings, and transactional review. He routinely evaluates jurisdictional questions and develops strategies that align with the relevant state rules. He currently concentrates his practice on matters arising in Florida and New Jersey.
