After law school he entered private practice. In 2014 he joined Preble Law Office, P.S. as an associate lawyer. Two years later he moved to Envision Family Law and took on an assistant managing lawyer role in 2016. His membership in the Washington State Bar Association began in 2014, and he maintains active standing in the state bar.
Moffitt’s professional affiliations include membership in the Thurston County Bar Association and the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association. He has been listed with those local associations since 2014 and 2016, respectively.
