About Jonathan Kass
Jonathan Kass Glassman began his formal education in the liberal arts before turning to the law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Carleton College in 1998, then continued to Washington University in St. Louis, where he received his J.D. in 2004. Those years set the foundation for a practice shaped by courtroom procedure and client counseling.
Glassman is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri. He joined Stange Law Office, P.C. in 2014, starting as an associate and moving into a senior associate role during his time there. Colleagues described his work as steady and procedural; he handled filings, case preparation and courtroom appearances as matters progressed. In 2016 he took on broader supervisory responsibility as a team leader, overseeing case teams and mentoring more junior attorneys.
In 2018 Glassman moved to Hais, Hais & Goldberger, P.C., where he continued in a senior associate capacity. That period expanded his experience managing a heavier caseload and coordinating litigation strategies across multiple matters. The following year he launched Glassman Divorce, LLC. Establishing his own practice shifted his daily routine from firm-based collaboration to running a smaller operation and taking a more hands-on role in every client file.
His career shows steady progression through firm roles into solo practice. He has combined courtroom experience with case management and client advising. Work at several mid-size firms taught him how to prepare contested matters and how to shepherd negotiations to resolution. In private practice he applies those skills on behalf of individuals navigating separation and dissolution proceedings.
Glassman’s approach is practical. He aims to give clients clear explanations about options, likely timelines and what to expect at each stage. He balances litigation mechanics with efforts to settle where possible, while remaining prepared to proceed to trial when settlement is not achievable. His practice touches on the procedural and emotional aspects that divorce cases often present.
He currently practices at Glassman Divorce, LLC, where he handles divorce and related family law matters.
