About Jonathan A. Zendeh
Jonathan A. Zendeh Del built his legal foundation at Baylor University, where he completed a B.B.A. in real estate and management in 2004. He went on to earn his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2008. Those years set the stage for a career that moved quickly from courtroom work to firm leadership.
After law school he spent time in public service at the Oklahoma County District Lawyer's Office in 2007. He then entered private practice as an associate at Miller Dollarhide, PC in 2008 and moved to Pignato, Cooper, Kolker & Roberson, PC in 2009. In 2010 he opened Zendeh Del & Associates, PLLC and took on the role of managing lawyer. That step into firm leadership came relatively early in his career and has defined the past decade and a half of his work.
Zendeh Del holds bar licenses in both Texas and Oklahoma and is admitted in several federal courts, including district courts in the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma and the Southern District of Texas. His federal admissions extend to the Fifth Circuit. On the state level he is admitted to practice before the Texas Supreme Court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Oklahoma Court of Appeals.
He has stayed active in local and state bar circles. He served as Director of the Galveston County Bar Association beginning in 2012 and later held its Treasurer post for 2016–2017. He advanced to President-Elect in 2019–2020 and served as President of the Galveston County Bar Association in 2020–2021. His work with young lawyer organizations includes a term as President of the Galveston County Young Lawyers Association in 2015–2016. He has been a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association since 2010.
Colleagues describe his practice as courtroom-centered. He appears regularly in state and federal venues and manages both trial preparation and appeal work that reaches the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and federal appellate panels. The mix of local bar leadership and repeated courtroom admissions reflects a lawyer who balances casework with professional service.
Zendeh Del’s career traces a steady arc from public-sector beginnings to private practice leadership. He continues to lead Zendeh Del & Associates, PLLC and maintains an active trial docket in criminal defense and related litigation in state and federal courts.
