About Gabe
Gabe Perez came to law from a background in political science. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas at El Paso before moving on to legal studies at Oklahoma City University School of Law and the University of Oklahoma, where he completed his J.D. programs. Those academic stops gave him exposure to courtroom practice in two neighboring states and a foundation in federal and state procedure.
His early legal career began in Oklahoma. In 2010 he joined Miranda & Maldonado, P.C. as an associate. That role placed him in matters that required appearances in both federal and bankruptcy courts, and it is where he first engaged regularly with insolvency and debtor-creditor issues. By 2017 he was listed as a lawyer at Zendeh Del & Associates, PLLC. Those positions chart a path through commercial litigation and bankruptcy work across state lines.
Perez is admitted in both Texas and Oklahoma. His federal admissions include the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas and the Western and Southern Districts of Texas’ bankruptcy courts, as well as the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is also admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit. That array of jurisdictions reflects repeated appearances at trial and in bankruptcy proceedings across the region.
He has remained involved in the professional community. Since 2018 he has been a member of the Galveston County Bar Association and the Galveston Young Lawyers Association. Earlier in his career he belonged to the Bankruptcy Border Bar Association from 2010 until 2017. Those associations indicate ongoing ties to local bar activities and to the circuit of attorneys who handle insolvency matters in the border region.
Colleagues describe him as someone who handles procedural complexities and calendar-driven litigation. He has worked on matters that required coordination across multiple federal dockets and bankruptcy schedules. His career shows steady movement from an associate role into positions that demand independent handling of filings, hearings and client communications in contested proceedings.
He maintains a practice that regularly involves bankruptcy cases and federal court litigation in Texas and Oklahoma. He lives and works where those jurisdictions meet, and his current practice focuses on bankruptcy and federal court matters in Texas and Oklahoma.
