About Jon Patrick
Jon Patrick Bourdon studied political science at the College of the Holy Cross, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. The liberal arts environment at Holy Cross shaped his interest in law and public affairs.
After completing his undergraduate degree he entered the legal profession and built a practice spanning the District of Columbia and Virginia. He is a current member of the District of Columbia Bar and the Virginia State Bar.
Bourdon has spent a significant portion of his career at Bourdon & Tortolero, PLLC, where he serves as a partner. His role involves case strategy, client counseling, and the daily management responsibilities that come with partnership. Colleagues describe him as methodical and direct in his approach to legal work.
Over the years he has handled a variety of legal matters arising in the two jurisdictions where he is licensed. He works with clients on issues that require an understanding of both local rules and the practical realities of litigating or resolving disputes in D.C. and Virginia. He is comfortable in the give-and-take of negotiations and in the structure of formal hearings.
Outside the office he keeps ties to professional networks through his bar memberships. Those memberships provide opportunities to stay current on changes in law, court procedure, and professional ethics. He has remained active in those circles while focusing his daily practice on client service and casework.

He continues to practice at Bourdon & Tortolero, PLLC, representing clients in matters that arise under the laws of the District of Columbia and Virginia. He currently concentrates his practice on addressing legal matters in those two jurisdictions.
