About Jon David

Jon David Huffman earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law after completing undergraduate studies at Covenant College, where he received a Bachelor of Science. He arrived at law school prepared for courtroom work. His academic background laid the foundation for a litigated career in Georgia courts and federal venues.

He is admitted to practice in Georgia and holds appearances before the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He also is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Those admissions allow him to handle matters from trial through appellate review in both state and federal systems.

Huffman serves as Managing Trial Lawyer at Poole Huffman, LLC. In that role he coordinates preparation for trial, supervises courtroom presentation and manages client expectations through the phases of litigation. Colleagues describe his work as hands-on in the courtroom and detailed in case preparation. He balances case intake, discovery oversight and trial logistics, while remaining the point person for clients who need direct courtroom representation.

He maintains memberships in the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association. He also is a member of the Atlanta Real Estate Investors Alliance, which keeps him connected to professionals in the region’s property and investment sectors. Those affiliations provide him with access to continuing legal education and professional networks that support his trial practice.

Huffman’s courtroom work spans a variety of contested matters. He appears before trial courts and handles appellate filings when cases move beyond the trial level. That pattern of appearances has shaped his approach: prepare thoroughly, control the record, and communicate clearly to judges and juries. He combines litigation fundamentals with practical courtroom pacing to present issues in a way that trial judges and juries can follow.

Colleagues and clients turn to him for representation in matters that require litigation and trial advocacy. He manages trial teams at his firm and remains active in both the local bar and professional groups connected to real estate. He currently practices trial litigation at Poole Huffman, LLC, representing clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
