About Jon C
Jon C Conlin built his legal foundation at Samford University and completed his law degree at the University of Alabama School of Law. He returned to Alabama to practice law, applying the classroom lessons to courtroom and office settings across the state.
Early in his career Conlin joined the team at Cory Watson Crowder & DeGaris, where he rose to serve as a shareholder. He has handled cases that required both detailed preparation and attention to procedural rules. Over time he took on greater management responsibilities at the firm while remaining engaged in case development and client contact.
Conlin is admitted to practice in Alabama and remains active in the legal community. He belongs to the Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham Bar Association. His memberships extend to national and state trial organizations: the American Association for Justice and the Alabama Association for Justice. Those affiliations reflect regular participation in continuing education and professional exchange with other trial lawyers.
Colleagues describe Conlin as methodical in his approach to litigation. He prepares written work carefully and places weight on factual investigation. In court he tends to adopt a straightforward, evidence-driven style. He also takes part in internal firm matters that shape how cases are staffed and pursued. That combination of client work and firm leadership shapes the way he manages files and interacts with clients.
Beyond litigation mechanics, Conlin has been involved in regional legal events and seminars tied to trial practice. He has used those forums to both learn and share procedural strategies, particularly on case development and pretrial practice. He keeps current on changes in Alabama procedure and jury practice through his bar and association activities.
Today Conlin practices in Alabama as a shareholder based out of offices associated with Cory Watson Lawyers. He continues to handle civil cases and to participate in the professional organizations that inform trial work. He currently concentrates his practice on civil litigation in Alabama.
