About John
John Cordisco began his legal education at Rider University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1977. He went on to receive his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1986. Those academic years set the stage for a courtroom-oriented career that has spanned decades.
Early in his practice, Cordisco secured admission to multiple jurisdictions. He is admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and he holds admissions to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. These credentials underpin a practice that has regularly engaged federal and state forums.
Membership in professional organizations has been a consistent part of his professional life. He belongs to the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association, and he is active in local and statewide trial groups including the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. He also maintains membership in the New Jersey State Bar and the American Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations mark him as a practitioner who participates in the broader legal community.
Cordisco’s work has kept him tied to several communities in Pennsylvania. He maintains offices in Doylestown, Trevose, Newtown-Langhorne and Bristol. Through those locations he has handled matters in county courts and in federal court, drawing on courtroom experience earned over many years.
Colleagues and opposing counsel have encountered him in contested settings. He has taken cases to trial and worked through settlements when appropriate. His practice record reflects steady involvement in trial work and civil litigation, rather than a focus on transactional matters or academic roles.
Outside the courtroom he has balanced professional commitments across bar associations and trial organizations. That participation has included attending educational programs, contributing to association activities and networking within the litigation bar. It has helped him stay current on procedural and substantive developments that affect trial practice.
As of 2026 he continues to maintain an active trial practice through his offices in Doylestown, Trevose, Newtown-Langhorne and Bristol, handling civil litigation and trial work in both state and federal courts.
