About John
John Butler earned his law degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Science in biology at Ouachita Baptist University in 2014. He entered the legal profession soon after finishing law school and established the educational foundation that would guide his early career decisions.
He began practicing in 2017, taking roles at Marinosci Law Group, PC and launching The Butler Law Office that same year. That period combined the work of a small firm principal with the demands of associate-level assignments, giving him experience on both sides of a law office’s operations. In 2018 he moved to Danecki Law Office, P.L.C., and the following year he joined Jones Law Office, P.L.L.C.
By 2020 Butler had accepted a position at wh Law. The sequence of moves reflects steady work in private practice across a range of settings: boutique firms, solo practice and larger office environments. The variety also exposed him to procedural work in state and federal courts and to different approaches to client service and case management.
Butler is admitted to practice in Arkansas and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. He has been a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the American Bar Association since 2017. He also holds membership in the Debtor-Creditor Bar of Central Arkansas, a sign of ongoing involvement in matters that often arise in commercial and consumer contexts.
His background combines courtroom filings and office-side management. Founding a solo practice early in his career required him to handle intake, filings and the business side of running a law office. Subsequent years in other firms allowed him to refine litigation skills and to work within teams on more complex matters.
Colleagues describe Butler as practical in his courtroom approach, preferring clear legal arguments and efficient case preparation. He has experience presenting motions and filings in both state and federal venues, and he regularly engages with matters common to debtors and creditors in Central Arkansas.
He currently practices at wh Law, where he handles litigation, debtor-creditor matters and federal court filings.
