About Joelle

Joelle Shanesy began her academic path at West Virginia University, where she earned a B.A. in psychology. She went on to Duquesne University School of Law and completed her J.D. There she combined study of human behavior with legal doctrine, a background that would shape her approach to client work.

Her legal career moved quickly into practice. In 2016 she served as a law clerk at McMorrow Law, where she handled research, drafted pleadings and observed hearings. Two years later she joined Sadek and Cooper Law Offices as an associate attorney. The move brought her into a firm environment where case preparation and client contact were part of daily work.

Those early years trace a simple arc from research and support to direct representation. Her psychology training informs how she interviews clients and prepares witnesses. Her time as a clerk tightened her skills in legal research and courtroom procedure. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and precise in written work. She has experience drafting motions, managing discovery and preparing pleadings, tasks that recur across many types of practice.

Shanesy is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and has built her practice in that jurisdiction. She practices at Sadek and Cooper Law Offices, where she works on matters arising under Pennsylvania law. Her work continues to draw on both her academic background and early courtroom experience as she represents clients in state matters.
