About Jimmy
Jimmy Meeks earned his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2017. He completed a rigorous legal education that included classroom work, legal research and writing, and practical clinic experience. That year marked his transition from law student to practicing attorney.
After law school Meeks entered private practice. He spent the early years of his career building courtroom skills and client relations. Records show that he joined Pepper Law, PLC in 2022. Since then he has been based at that firm and listed among its attorneys.
Meeks’s work at Pepper Law has involved typical responsibilities for a litigation and transactional practice: advising clients, drafting pleadings and agreements, and appearing in court when matters require. His role has required attention to procedural detail and the steady management of client files. Colleagues describe him as someone who handles assigned matters directly and keeps clients informed of progress and options.
Court calendars, filings and client consultations have shaped his day-to-day practice. He has participated in motion work and settlement negotiations, and he has prepared materials for hearings and trials. Meeks’s approach is pragmatic. He assesses legal problems, outlines options for clients, and pursues the path those clients choose. He also works with other attorneys at his firm on more complex or multijurisdictional matters when they arise.
Outside of the office he maintains connections to the legal community through continuing legal education and professional contacts developed since graduating in 2017. Those contacts include fellow attorneys and court personnel he has worked with on cases. He keeps his skills current by attending seminars and reviewing recent developments that affect the matters his clients bring to the firm.
As of 2026 Meeks is practicing at Pepper Law, PLC, where he continues to handle client matters across the firm’s practice areas and assist in both litigation and transactional work.
