About Jessica

Jessica Wilson graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2003. She completed her J.D. after a course of study that emphasized practical training alongside doctrinal work. The early years after law school shaped the way she approaches client matters: clearly, directly and with an eye for practical solutions.

After leaving law school she practiced in New York. Over time she moved from associate roles into running her own office. That transition reflected a desire for greater control over case direction and client relationships. It also led to the creation of her firm, which bears her name.

In 2007 she took steps that expanded her professional network in the state. Those years brought steady growth in the types of matters she handled. She developed a routine of advising clients on state law issues, counseling individuals and small enterprises, and managing disputes through negotiation and litigation when necessary.

Her practice style is straightforward. She aims to explain the law in plain language and to set realistic expectations. She prefers to test legal theories early, to identify weaknesses and to present options to clients. That approach influences how she staffs matters, schedules court appearances and manages filings.

Clients see her as accessible. She keeps a small office structure that allows for direct attorney-client contact. That setup also gives her flexibility to respond to time-sensitive issues. She draws on nearly two decades of practice since receiving her law degree, applying lessons from earlier firm assignments to her own caseload.

Outside of casework she has maintained steady ties to the legal community in New York. She has attended continuing education programs and participated in local professional gatherings. Those activities inform her practice and help her stay current on changes in state law.

Today she leads LAW OFFICE OF JESSICA WILSON, P.C. The firm operates in New York, where she is licensed to practice. Her practice handles matters arising under New York law for individuals and small enterprises, and she continues to represent clients from initial counseling through resolution in court or settlement.
