About Jerome N.

Jerome N. Goldstein earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1985 after completing a B.A. at Rowan University in 1980. He arrived at law school after a typical undergraduate path and finished at a time when many new attorneys were setting up private practices or joining small firms. Those formative years at Quinnipiac helped shape the practical approach he has maintained throughout his career.

He has practiced in Connecticut and holds admission to the state bar. Goldstein has been connected to the Connecticut Bar Association for decades, maintaining membership since 1989. That long-standing involvement has put him in contact with peers across several practice areas and kept him engaged in the professional life of the state’s legal community.

Within the Connecticut Bar Association, Goldstein has taken on leadership responsibilities. He became a member of the Family Law Section in 2012 and remains active there. He also served as chairperson of the Small Firm Practice Management Section from 2017 to 2018. In the chair role he organized meetings and helped guide discussions about practice administration and the particular challenges faced by smaller firms.

Those roles reflect two strands of his professional interests: family law and the operational side of running a law practice. His long membership in the Family Law Section suggests steady involvement in family court matters and related procedures. At the same time, his leadership of the practice management section shows an interest in how small firms operate, from client intake to billing systems and office workflow. Colleagues have turned to him for perspectives on improving day-to-day practice procedures and on adapting office systems to the realities of modern lawyering.

Goldstein’s career spans several decades and a changing legal landscape. He has remained a presence in Connecticut’s bar activities and in sections that align with the work he does and the guidance he offers other lawyers. His professional record is one of sustained participation in bar governance and section work rather than public-facing litigation headlines. He continues to practice in Connecticut, focusing on family law matters and on advising small firms about practice management.
