About Jennifer N.
Jennifer N. Weil earned her J.D. from the William H. Bowen School of Law in 1998. She completed her legal studies after entering the program in the mid-1990s and moved quickly into practice. Her early training gave her grounding in civil litigation and consumer law, areas that would recur throughout her career.
She served as an associate at Armienti, DeBellis & Whiten, where she gained hands-on experience in courtroom work and client counseling. That role exposed her to a mix of adversarial litigation and negotiated resolutions. Over time she expanded the range of matters she handled, adding bankruptcy and consumer-oriented claims to her caseload.
Professional memberships track a steady engagement with litigation and consumer law communities. She joined the State Bar of Texas in 1998 and has maintained that membership. She became a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association in 2007 and held that affiliation through 2008. In 2008 she joined the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and remained a member into 2009. She also joined the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers in 2009 and has been listed with that organization since then.
Weil holds a certification as a New Jersey Foreclosure Mediator through the NJ court system. That credential reflects work in foreclosure resolution and mediation practice in New Jersey courts. Her background in consumer bankruptcy law and court-sanctioned mediation work gives her a particular familiarity with the overlap between insolvency, mortgage disputes, and negotiated settlements.
Her practice history shows movement across several jurisdictions. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Texas, and those admissions inform the geographic span of the matters she takes on. Over the years she has handled individual debtor matters, contested creditor actions, and representation in administrative claims tied to social security benefits.
Today she maintains an office under the name Jennifer N. Weil, Esq. She continues to accept cases that involve bankruptcy filings, foreclosure mediation and related consumer-law disputes. Her current practice concentrates on consumer bankruptcy representation and foreclosure mediation.
