About Jennifer
Jennifer Dearborn built her legal foundation at two northeastern schools. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Connecticut in 2009. She went on to complete her Juris Doctor at Rutgers School of Law–Newark in 2012.
Her earliest professional role after law school was a clerkship. In 2012 she served as law clerk to the Honorable Garry S. Rothstadt, J.S.C., at the Superior Court of New Jersey in Passaic County. That year in chambers put her inside the day-to-day of trial court practice. She worked on motions, reviewed records and observed evidentiary hearings, gaining front-line experience in state court procedure.
In 2013 she joined Fronzuto Law Group as an associate attorney. Her time there followed courtroom exposure with hands-on litigation work. She has handled filings, drafted pleadings and participated in hearings. Colleagues note a steady approach to case preparation and an emphasis on clear legal writing.
She is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and New York and is authorized to practice before the Federal Circuit. That mix of admissions lets her take matters in state courts and pursue appeals at the federal appellate level when appropriate. The combination of trial and appellate access shapes how she approaches legal strategy.
Outside of firm work she remains engaged locally. She holds membership in the Passaic County Bar Association. Participation in the bar has provided networking and continuing education opportunities that feed back into her practice. Early exposure to trial scheduling and courtroom procedure during her clerkship continues to inform how she manages deadlines and client expectations.
Her career path shows a common arc in litigation-oriented practice: classroom training, court-side apprenticeship and then private practice. At Fronzuto Law Group she applies those elements to the matters assigned to her, moving files through discovery and toward resolution when possible. She continues to appear in state and federal proceedings as her caseload demands.
