About Jen Jinxin
Jen Jinxin Huang built a pathway from international studies to U.S. law. She earned a B.A. in English and International Studies from the Foreign Affairs College in Beijing. Later she moved to the United States to attend the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she completed her J.D. The combination of an international undergraduate degree and an American law school education has shaped how she approaches legal questions that cross borders.
Her early career included time at Fenwick & West LLP. There she worked alongside lawyers on matters that required clear written and oral communication. Her bilingual background has often proved useful during document review, client calls and negotiations involving Mandarin and English. Colleagues describe her as thorough; she tends to favor careful analysis over quick fixes.
Huang is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Washington. Those admissions reflect both her Midwest legal training and a later professional presence on the West Coast. She has handled matters in courts and regulatory settings in those states and has supported clients on multi-jurisdictional issues when cases touched more than one state.
Her practice style leans on interpreting complex materials and translating them into actionable steps for clients. She spends time reviewing statutes and contracts, drafting filings and preparing witnesses for testimony when litigation is involved. At the same time she advises on transactional matters where clear contractual language matters. Her bilingual education helps when records, correspondence or negotiations involve non-English sources.
Outside of specific casework, Huang has been involved in mentoring younger lawyers and participating in firm training programs. She has spoken informally on topics that bring academic international study together with practical U.S. lawyering. Those conversations often focus on the nuts and bolts of working across legal systems rather than on theory.
As of 2026 she continues to practice law in both Wisconsin and Washington. Her work centers on serving clients whose matters require attention in either or both of those states.
