About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Reiff began his academic path at American University, where he earned a B.S.B.A. in marketing and finance in 1972. He went on to complete his law degree at Temple University in 1979. Those two degrees set the foundation for a long career split between courtroom work and professional leadership within trial lawyer circles.
He joined Reiff, Morrisey, Pressman and Bily as a partner in 1981. Over the following decades he built a practice centered on complex personal injury and product liability matters. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Third Circuit, and in the states of Pennsylvania and New York. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar and the Philadelphia Bar Association since 1979 and maintained his New York bar membership since the late 1990s.
Reiff’s professional affiliations reflect steady involvement in litigation communities. He has belonged to the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association since 1980. He joined the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 1995 and later became active in national specialty groups, including the National Motor Vehicle Trial Lawyers Association, the National Brain Injury Trial Lawyers Association, and the Mass Tort Trial Lawyers Association beginning in 2011. He served in volunteer roles within the American Association for Justice, including as secretary and newsletter editor for its Products Liability Litigation section from 1980 through 2013. He has also participated in trucking litigation groups and the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
After nearly four decades at his earlier firm, Reiff formed The Reiff Law Office in 2019. The move returned him to a smaller, self-directed practice structure. Colleagues and professional organizations have noted his long-standing presence in trial-focused groups, and he continued to appear in serious-injury and product liability matters after opening his own office.
His calendar and casework have combined courtroom appearances, appellate filings, and counsel to clients navigating severe injuries and complex liability claims. He has been a contributing member of the Lawyers Information and Exchange Group since 2003 and has maintained membership in national trial organizations and specialty sections that match the kinds of cases he brings.
He currently concentrates his practice on serious personal injury litigation, including motor-vehicle and trucking collisions, traumatic brain injury, mass torts and product liability cases.
