About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Jaeger earned his law degree from California Western School of Law in 2013 after completing a bachelor’s degree in visual communication at American InterContinental University in 2008. He arrived in the legal world with a mix of practical and technical training. The academic years set a foundation for courtroom procedure, research and trial support work he would return to throughout his career.
Jaeger’s early professional steps took him into litigation support. In 1999 he served as Director of Litigation Support at the Clark County Public Defenders Office, a role that involved coordinating case materials, managing evidence workflows and supporting trial teams. He later worked as a senior law clerk at Ryan Mercaldo LLP in 2012, where he conducted legal research and assisted in case preparation. After receiving his J.D., he joined Oronoz & Ericsson LLC in 2013 as an associate attorney and moved into private practice soon after.
In 2015 Jaeger founded The Law Offices of Jeffrey Jaeger. The firm grew out of a desire to handle contested matters across multiple courts while maintaining hands-on involvement in case strategy. He has maintained memberships in professional bar organizations throughout his career, including the American Bar Association since 2005, the San Diego County Bar Association since 2010, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association since 2014. Those affiliations reflect steady engagement with regional practice communities and continuing legal education.
Jaeger is admitted to practice in California and Nevada and holds federal admissions that allow him to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, the Central District of California, the District of Nevada and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. That combined state and federal admission enables him to carry matters through trial and appeals in multiple venues.
Colleagues and clients describe Jaeger as methodical. He approaches discovery, motion practice and courtroom preparation in a detailed, procedural way. His background in litigation support gives him an eye for evidence management and trial logistics. The path from directing support teams to leading his own litigation practice shaped how he staffs cases and organizes files.
Today he operates The Law Offices of Jeffrey Jaeger, where he handles contested matters in state and federal courts across California and Nevada. His current practice focuses on litigation work handled through those jurisdictions.
