About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Hepworth earned his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1982. He went on to build a practice centered in Idaho while maintaining admission to the Ninth Circuit. His legal education in Idaho laid the groundwork for a long career that spans both local matters and federal appellate practice.
Hepworth has been involved in community and civic work alongside his legal practice. He has served with the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Twin Falls Urban Renewal Agency, roles that connected him to municipal concerns and local economic development. He is also an active member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, a professional organization that keeps him tied to trial practice and peer networks across the state.
After completing law school in the early 1980s, Hepworth entered practice in Idaho. He has handled matters in state courts and accepted cases that reached the Ninth Circuit, reflecting the dual nature of his admissions. Over the years he has navigated both trial-level litigation and appellate filings, adapting to shifts in procedure and precedent as they arose.
Hepworth’s work touches on litigation and courtroom advocacy. His admission to the Ninth Circuit permits him to take on federal appeals stemming from the region. In Idaho, he appears in state courts and engages with local agencies and clients on a range of disputes. His involvement with civic bodies in Twin Falls has also given him exposure to land use and municipal issues, though he handles a spectrum of legal matters rather than a single niche.
He maintains offices in Twin Falls and Boise, which allow him to meet clients across southern and central Idaho. The Twin Falls office keeps him connected to the community where he has engaged in public and civic roles. The Boise office provides a presence in the state capital and access to the wider bench and bar.
Throughout his career Hepworth has balanced courtroom work with community engagement and professional association activity. He remains an active member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and continues to accept cases in Idaho state courts and before the Ninth Circuit. His current practice concentrates on litigation and appellate matters across Idaho, served from his Twin Falls and Boise offices.
