About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Fritz earned his law degree from Widener University in 1996 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Temple University in 1990. He built a foundation in legal practice that draws on both his formal training and long-standing involvement in trial-focused professional groups. His education set the stage for a career spent largely on the plaintiff side of civil litigation and in matters touching on crime victims’ rights.

Soon after law school he entered practice in the Mid-Atlantic region and became licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Over the years he has been active in organizations that shape plaintiff litigation practice. He belongs to the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships reflect a sustained interest in courtroom advocacy and in the professional networks that support trial lawyers.

Fritz has also taken leadership roles in professional bodies concerned specifically with victims of crime. He held the presidency of the National Crime Victim Bar Association from 2010 to 2011. He remains a member of that organization and is listed among those holding charter membership. His work in that sphere has involved representation and consultation for individuals navigating the civil avenues available after criminal conduct.

Colleagues describe his approach as straightforward and practice-oriented. He prepares for trial and adapts to the shifting facts most cases present. He has litigated matters in state courts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has handled pretrial and appellate issues when cases required that level of review. He participates in continuing legal education through his association involvement and uses those forums to stay current on developments in trial practice and damage evaluation.

Fritz maintains an office in Philadelphia where he meets clients and manages litigation. The office has served as a base for civil actions and for coordination with co-counsel in other jurisdictions. He balances courtroom work with client counseling and the procedural demands of litigation. He also engages with professional groups to influence policy and practice related to victims’ rights and civil remedies.

He currently represents plaintiffs in civil litigation and provides legal services for crime victims in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
