About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Beeler is a Massachusetts attorney whose path to the courtroom began at the University of Connecticut and continued through Suffolk University Law School. He earned a B.A. in political science from UConn in 1989 and completed his J.D. at Suffolk in 1992. Those formative years set the stage for a career that combines trial work and appellate practice.
After law school, Beeler served as a judicial clerk for the Supreme Judicial Court of Maine in 1992. The clerkship gave him an early look at appellate decision-making and legal drafting at the state’s highest level. He entered private practice soon after and joined the Massachusetts bar in 1993.
In 1997 he became an owner at Heinlein & Beeler, P.C., a role that signaled a move into firm leadership and case management. He later reorganized the practice and, in 2015, took ownership in Heinlein Beeler Mingace & Heineman, P.C. Those shifts reflect steady involvement in managing litigation teams and shaping firm strategy over decades.
Beeler’s admissions include the Massachusetts courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He maintains membership in the Massachusetts State Bar from 1993 to the present and serves on the Amicus Committee of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers. Those affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with professional and appellate networks.
In practice he handles civil litigation at trial and on appeal. His background combines state and federal practice. He appears in district court and has experience presenting matters in appellate settings. Colleagues note a practical approach to case preparation and an emphasis on clear legal writing when pursuing court remedies.
He currently practices at Heinlein Beeler Mingace & Heineman, P.C., where his work covers civil trial litigation and appellate advocacy in both state and federal forums.
