About Jeff
Jeff Jorgensen earned his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2012. He attended law school beginning in 2009 and finished his studies in Salem, where he trained in classroom and clinic settings. The law degree closed one chapter and opened another; Jorgensen moved quickly into practical roles that mixed municipal work and private practice.
While still in law school he served as a Rule 9 Assistant City Lawyer for the City of Seattle in 2011. That position put him inside municipal operations and exposed him to day-to-day legal tasks for a local government. After graduation he formed Jeffrey Jorgensen, LLC in 2012 and carried the title of lawyer and owner. He then spent time as an associate at Spooner & Much, P.C. beginning in 2013. Across these early roles he handled client matters, supported litigation and advised on legal strategy in a variety of settings.
Jorgensen’s professional affiliations reflect a broad engagement with Oregon’s legal community. He has been a member of the Marion County Bar Association since 2013. He joined the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association in 2016 and remains a member of both organizations. Earlier in his career he was affiliated with the Oregon Defense Lawyers Association from 2013 to 2015. These memberships suggest regular interaction with litigators and trial practitioners across the state.
His career path shows a mix of public sector experience and private practice. The municipal work in Seattle came at a formative time. Running a small firm soon after law school gave him front-line responsibility for client intake and case management. Working as an associate provided additional exposure to firm operations and collaboration on more complex matters.
Jorgensen practices in Oregon and maintains an office under the name Jorgensen Legal. He continues to participate in local bar activities and professional groups. Colleagues and peers encounter him at association meetings and county bar events, where he follows developments in trial practice and defense work.
He works out of Jorgensen Legal in Oregon. His current practice focuses on civil and criminal matters.
