About Jason T.
Jason T. Fowler’s academic path combined law, business and the liberal arts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Modern Languages from Eckerd College in 2006. He went on to complete a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law, earning a Certificate in Tax in 2014. He added an MBA in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in 2013 and an LL.M. in Taxation and International Tax from Georgetown University Law Center in 2015.
After law school and graduate study, Fowler entered tax practice. In 2015 he worked as a tax lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers. That position put him in a large-firm tax environment early in his career. He handled tax matters for corporate and individual clients while building practical experience in tax compliance and planning.
In 2016 Fowler helped establish Fowler & Fowler Law, LLC and became a partner. The move shifted him from a national accounting firm setting into a smaller law-firm environment where he could blend tax knowledge with alternative dispute-resolution work. At the firm he has taken on tax-related matters and has also acted as a mediator in family and property disputes.
Fowler holds multiple mediation credentials from The Mediation Center. He is a certified mediator and holds specific certifications as a Child Access Mediator and a Property Division Mediator. Those qualifications inform his work in family-related cases, where he conducts mediated sessions aimed at resolving disputes over custody, access and division of assets.
He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and in Maryland. That dual admission allows him to represent clients and participate in proceedings across those jurisdictions. His background in tax law and his mediation certifications make him a resource for clients navigating the intersection of financial and family issues.
Colleagues and clients have described Fowler as methodical and straightforward in meetings and negotiations. He combines technical tax training from an LL.M. program with practical experience from a major professional services firm and private practice. As of 2026 he is a partner at Fowler & Fowler Law, LLC where he handles tax matters and serves as a mediator in family and property disputes in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
