About Jason

Jason Ramsland built a path to the law that began in the Midwest and moved steadily toward practice. He earned a B.A. in political science from Taylor University in 2004. Six years later he completed his J.D. at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2010. Those academic years shaped his approach to legal questions: methodical, centered on facts, and attentive to procedural detail.

After law school Mr. Ramsland began practicing in jurisdictions that reflect both personal ties and professional opportunity. He holds licenses in Indiana and Georgia and has worked on matters that require coordinating across those state lines. Colleagues describe him as deliberate in preparation and straightforward in court. He favors clarity in filings and prefers to make complicated issues intelligible to judges and clients alike.

His courtroom and transactional work has required steady engagement with local rules and statutory frameworks in two states. That dual-licensure has influenced the kinds of matters he takes on. It also means he often serves as a point of contact for clients who have interests that cross state boundaries. He is attentive to procedural timing and the practical requirements of litigating or negotiating in different venues.

Outside day-to-day practice he maintains ties to the legal community. He has held professional association membership since 2019 and takes part in events and continuing legal education offerings that relate to his practice. Those activities keep him current on developments in state procedure and emerging case law. Peers say he brings a measured temperament to professional discussions and values precise legal analysis over rhetoric.

Today he practices at Johnson Marlowe LLP. His role there involves representing clients on matters that arise in Indiana and Georgia, and he handles the coordination and procedural work that cross-state matters often demand. He continues to draw on his academic training from Taylor University and Indiana University McKinney as he manages cases through filing, motion practice, and resolution. At Johnson Marlowe LLP he concentrates his practice on matters arising in Indiana and Georgia.
