Jasmine P. Bhatt combines an economics undergraduate degree and a law degree in a practice rooted in family law. She earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Texas – Dallas and completed her J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center in 2014. She is licensed to practice in Texas.
Bhatt's career has moved between nonprofit and private practice. In 2020 she served as Managing Lawyer at Texas Legal Services Center, Inc., a role that placed her in the administrative center of legal service delivery. Two years later she took on the managing lawyer position at Modern Family Law. Those positions have overlapped practice management and case work in family law settings.
Her academic background in economics informs an analytical approach to family matters. She draws on that training when addressing financial issues that arise in divorce and support matters.
