Janice L. Heinold is an attorney based in Moorestown, New Jersey, specializing in personal injury, business law, and real estate law. With over 28 years of legal experience, she is known for her expertise and dedication to her clients. Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1997 and the Pennsylvania State Bar in 1998, Ms. Heinold is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Heinold earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 1997, where she developed her skills in various areas of law. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The George Washington University in 1987. Following law school, she gained inexperience by clerking for the Honorable Roger F. Mahon of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Hunterdon County from September 1997 to August 1998. This clerkship provided her with a solid foundation in legal principles and courtroom procedures. Throughout her professional career, Ms. Heinold has represented clients in many legal matters, including personal injury cases, business disputes, and real estate transactions.

Notably, she appeared as co-counsel before the U.S. Supreme Court in the significant case of J. McIntyre Machinery, Ltd. v. Nicastro, 564 U.S. 873 (2011) — Her involvement in high-profile cases shows her capability and commitment to her clients’ interests. Additionally, she is a certified civil arbitrator for the New Jersey Superior Court, regularly serving in Camden County for personal injury and automobile arbitrations. Active in professional organizations, Ms. Heinold has held several leadership positions.

She served as the Burlington County Trustee for the New Jersey State Bar Association from 2017 to 2024 and is currently in the midst of a two-year term on the State Bar Association’s Nominating Committee. Her commitment to the legal community extends to her role as Chancellor for the Rutgers Law School Camden Alumni Association from 2017 to 2019, where she remains an active Trustee. Furthermore, she is a trustee of both the Burlington County Bar Foundation and the Burlington County Bar Association, having previously served as President of both organizations. In recognition of her contributions to the legal field, Ms. Heinold received the Rutgers Law School Alumni Association’s Nardi Award in 2022 for her service to the Law School and the community. Her professional accolades include being selected to the Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers in 2009 and later named to Super Lawyers in 2012. Fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, Ms. Heinold continues to serve her clients and the community with dedication and expertise.
