About James
James Trainor completed a broad academic program before entering the law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College in 1997, followed by a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. He then took up legal studies at Northwestern University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2004.
After law school, Trainor established a practice that crosses state and federal lines. He is admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, allowing him to appear in both Manhattan and Brooklyn federal courts.
