About James
James Roswold earned his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1990 after completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Minnesota in 1987. He entered the legal profession at a time when personal injury law in the Kansas City region was evolving. The early years of his career coincided with shifts in insurance practices and courtroom approaches to injury claims, and he built a practice around those changes.
Roswold is admitted to practice in both Kansas and Missouri. He holds memberships in The Missouri Bar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Johnson County Bar Association. Those affiliations keep him connected to colleagues across two state systems and to developments that affect injury litigation and client representation.
Over more than three decades, Roswold developed experience handling motor vehicle collisions and other accident claims. He has worked on cases that require close attention to medical records, insurance policy language and courtroom procedure. His work often involves coordinating with medical providers, expert witnesses and insurance adjusters. He approaches each file by assembling the factual and medical evidence that supports a claim and by preparing cases for negotiation or trial when necessary.
Roswold practices under the banner of Kansas City Accident Injury Lawyers. He maintains an office in the Kansas City area and sees clients by appointment in Parkville, Lee's Summit and Overland Park. Those appointment-only locations allow him to meet clients in different suburban communities while keeping core operations centralized.
Colleagues and clients describe him as steady in the courtroom and methodical in case preparation. He values practical problem solving. His daily work balances client meetings, discovery and motions practice. That combination of office work and courtroom time has defined his routine for many years.
Outside of direct case handling, Roswold’s bar memberships involve attendance at local events and continuing legal education that address changes in evidence rules, trial procedure and insurance law. He uses those forums to stay current on legal developments that affect accident and injury claims.
He continues to represent people who have been injured in accidents in both Kansas and Missouri, handling negotiations with insurers and preparing cases for litigation when settlement is not achieved. He currently concentrates his practice on representing clients in accident and injury matters in Kansas and Missouri.
