James Gandy trained in two different legal cultures. He earned a B.A. in history from California State University, Fullerton in 1992 and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1995. Gandy began his legal career in public service. In 1998 he worked as an Assistant District Lawyer at the Kings County District Lawyer s Office.
