About James Clifford
James Clifford Anderson built a path to law that began in psychology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2003. A decade later he completed his J.D. at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2013. That combination of undergraduate study and legal training shaped the early contours of his career.
His first public legal placement came as an extern at the California Court of Appeal, Third District in 2013. The appellate experience exposed him to written opinion drafting and appellate procedures. In 2015 he joined Triebsch & Frampton, APC as an associate lawyer. That role placed him in the daily work of litigation and client counseling in California courts. During the same year he began an active role in local professional organizations.
Anderson has taken on responsibilities outside the courtroom. In 2015 he was named vice president of Legislative Affairs and Public Relations for the Central Valley Human Resource Association. He continues in that post, a role that has involved liaising between HR professionals and local stakeholders. He also holds memberships in the Society for Human Resource Management and the Stanislaus County Bar Association, and he participates in the Rotary Club of Turlock. His academic honors include membership in the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society, a recognition he has carried since 2013.
His admissions allow him to practice across all California state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. That geographical and procedural range informs the cases he handles and the clients he serves. The record shows experience in court filings, motion practice and client-facing work typical of an associate attorney who transitioned from appellate externship to civil practice.
Outside law, Anderson holds a PADI Divemaster certification. That credential signals an interest in diving and training others in underwater environments. Community involvement through Rotary and professional engagement through HR and bar associations round out a profile of an attorney who mixes legal work with civic activity.
He remains active in the Central Valley legal and professional community, balancing litigation duties with advocacy before HR audiences and local organizations. His current practice focuses on representing clients in California state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
