About Jaclyn

Jaclyn Zimmermann earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 2005 after completing a B.S. at Missouri State University in 2002. She entered the legal profession in the years that followed and built a practice rooted in courtroom work and client representation.

Her early career included a position at Hazelwood & Weber beginning in 2007. There she handled litigation matters and gained trial experience. In 2010 she joined Ponder | Zimmermann LLC, where she has been a lawyer since. That move marked a shift to a smaller firm setting where she has continued to handle contested cases and represent clients in state and federal proceedings.

Outside the firm, Zimmermann spent time in legal education. In 2018 she served as an adjunct professor at Maryville University of Saint Louis. She brought practical courtroom perspective into the classroom and engaged with students on topics grounded in litigation practice.

Zimmermann maintains active ties to professional organizations across Missouri and nationally. She belongs to the National Employment Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers. At the local level she is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the St. Charles County Bar Association, the Missouri State Bar, and the Women Lawyers Association of Greater St. Louis. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and she uses those credentials to take cases into both state and federal forums.

Her work at Ponder | Zimmermann LLC centers on litigation and trial work. She represents clients in contested matters and pursues remedies through filing, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy. Colleagues describe her as practical in the courtroom and exacting in case preparation. She remains active in bar activities and in continuing legal education while maintaining a caseload at her firm. Zimmermann currently practices at Ponder | Zimmermann LLC, handling employment-related and civil litigation matters.
