About J. Daniel
J. Daniel Cole earned his law degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 2012 after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Mercer University in 2007. The combination of business studies and legal training shaped an analytical approach that he carried into practice. He arrived in law with a practical sense of how legal issues intersect with commercial and organizational decisions.
Cole practices in Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and works within the state’s courts and regulatory framework. Early in his career he applied classroom lessons to client matters and to the procedural realities of litigating and negotiating in Georgia jurisdictions. Those formative years set the stage for more senior roles at his firm.
He is a partner at Parks, Chesin & Walbert. At the firm he works alongside other attorneys on client matters and participates in the management of cases from intake through resolution. His role as partner involves advising clients, coordinating with colleagues, and overseeing the progression of matters handled by the office.
Outside the firm, Cole holds membership in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. That affiliation places him among professionals who engage with community mentoring programs. He retains active ties to the legal community through his State Bar of Georgia membership and regular contact with peers across practice areas.
Cole’s background in business informs his legal perspective. The B.B.A. gives him a foundation for assessing business records and commercial relationships, while the J.D. provided the tools for legal analysis and courtroom procedure. He applies both sets of skills when evaluating a case, preparing pleadings, and advising clients about potential outcomes.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and attentive to the details that matter in legal files. He balances research and practical strategy, and he approaches client work with an emphasis on clear communication. He maintains professional connections within Georgia’s legal community and participates in activities that extend beyond the office.
He practices from the Parks, Chesin & Walbert office and maintains an active practice in Georgia courts and administrative forums. His current practice concentrates on legal matters arising in Georgia.
