Henry Daniel Lively is a tax attorney licensed to practice in California. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998, holding. His license is currently active. Mr. Lively is the managing partner at The Lively Law Group, PC, a law firm located in Irvine, California. He has been practicing law for over 27 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Lively earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State College of Law at Argosy University in 1993. He furthered his legal education by obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2003. Prior to his legal studies, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Northridge, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting in 1979.
Mr. Lively specializes in tax law and estate planning. He represents clients in matters involving tax disputes with agencies such as the IRS, FTB, EDD, and BOE, as well as in court proceedings. His estate planning practice includes drafting trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and other related documents. He is a certified tax specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Throughout his career, Mr. Lively has handled numerous cases, including favorable reductions of tax liabilities and successful negotiations with the IRS. In addition to his legal practice, he has served as an adjunct professor at Whittier Law School from 2009 to 2016, teaching courses related to tax law.

He is also involved in community service, serving on the Board of Directors for the J Serra Catholic High School Hockey Program and the Apartment Association Southern Cities.
