About Haynes M.

Haynes M. Studstill built his legal foundation at two well-regarded institutions. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University in 1998. He returned to the classroom to study law at the Walter F. George School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2007.

Fresh out of law school, Studstill joined King & Spalding as an associate in 2007. He spent his early professional years gaining courtroom and firm-side experience at that large firm. By 2009 he was a partner at the firm that bears his name. He has served in that leadership role since then, helping to steer cases and manage firm operations.

He is licensed to practice throughout Georgia and in several federal courts. His admissions include the State Bar of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and both the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. His State Bar membership dates to 2007 and remains current.

Studstill has taken on roles in professional and trial organizations over the years. He has been active in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association since 2009 and is listed as a member of that group’s Verdict Board. He also belongs to the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Macon Bar Association and the Valdosta Bar Association. These memberships reflect sustained engagement with colleagues across the state and the nation.

Colleagues and adversaries alike note a practice built around courtroom work and appellate filings. Studstill’s admissions to appellate and federal district courts align with that emphasis. He has worked on matters that proceed through state appellate channels and federal trial courts, and his membership on a verdict review board points to regular trial involvement.

Studstill maintains offices under the Studstill Firm, LLP name, including a Nashville location. He continues to practice actively and regularly appears in Georgia state and federal courts. His current practice centers on trial and appellate litigation in Georgia courts.
