About Harrison Wade
Harrison Wade Spires earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in 2005 and completed his Juris Doctor at Mercer University in 2009. He finished law school the same year he joined the State Bar of Georgia and began his legal career. The early years after graduation are where he built the foundation of his practice and professional network.
Fresh out of law school, Spires joined Carlock, Copeland, & Stair, LLP as an associate in 2009. He spent those formative years learning the routines of a busy law firm. He handled day-to-day responsibilities that come with firm practice and gained direct exposure to courtroom procedures and client work. That period set the stage for a shift in responsibilities several years later.
In 2016 Spires stepped into a partner role at Christopher Simon Lawyer at Law. The change reflected a move into leadership within a smaller practice environment. As a partner he took on more management tasks while continuing to represent clients. Colleagues and clients relied on him for case strategy and for the steadier judgment that comes with experience.
Spires has maintained an active presence in several professional organizations. He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 2009 and joined the Atlanta Bar Association in 2011. He became a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association in 2016 and joined the American Association for Justice in 2017. Those affiliations suggest regular engagement with continuing education and the professional community around trial practice and civil advocacy.
Across his career he has accumulated more than a decade and a half of practice in Georgia. He keeps current on procedural developments and tends to pursue peer exchange through bar activities and association meetings. His career path—associate at a regional firm, then partner at a smaller practice—reflects a combination of firm-side training and independent practice responsibilities.
Spires remains licensed in Georgia and continues his work at Christopher Simon Lawyer at Law. He practices in Georgia and his current work centers on trial litigation in the state.
