About Hanna H

Hanna H Shoshany trained as a lawyer at Pace University's Elisabeth Haub School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2012 and concentrated in criminal law. She earlier studied at the City University of New York's College of Staten Island, completing undergraduate work in English writing and philosophy. Those academic choices framed an early interest in courtroom work and legal writing.

Her first professional steps in the legal world were varied. In 2014 she worked as a paralegal at the Law Offices of Harvey G. Landau. The following year she served as an honors prosecution extern at the Westchester County District Attorney's Office, an experience that exposed her to the daily operations of public prosecution. She spent 2016 clerking for the Law Offices of Richard A. Portale, P.C., gaining practical exposure to case preparation and client intake procedures.

By 2017 her resume showed a mix of private practice and legal education. That year she joined Portale Randazzo LLP as an associate and also returned to Elisabeth Haub School of Law to coach mock trial. The coaching role spoke to her involvement in trial advocacy training and mentoring law students. In 2018 she accepted an associate position at the Law Offices of Alan B. Brill, LLC, then moved in 2019 to the Law Offices of Robert Tsigler, PLLC as an associate.

Across these roles she built experience in both courtroom and office settings. She is admitted to practice in New York and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Those admissions enable her to appear in federal as well as state proceedings. Her background spans prosecution-side exposure, clerking, paralegal work and several years as an associate in small and mid-sized firms.

Shoshany now practices at Trivella & Forte, LLP. Her career path reflects steady movement from supporting roles into repeated associate positions and into legal education through mock trial coaching. She regularly handles matters that require appearances in state and federal courts. She concentrates her practice on litigation in state and federal courts.
