About H. Jared
H. Jared Doster built a path to law after an early career in the sciences. He earned a B.S. from Florida State University in 2011 and followed that with an M.S. in Physics from Michigan State University in 2013. He completed his legal education at Vanderbilt University Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2017.
He entered private practice immediately after graduation, joining Baker Botts as an associate in 2017. That role exposed him to the rhythms of a large firm. He moved to Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipakos, Alavi & Mensing P.C. in 2019, and spent 2020 as an associate at Malloy & Malloy, P.L. In 2021 he worked at Hand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC and in 2022 he opened Doster Law PLLC.
Across those years he handled a variety of matters typical of firm-side attorneys. His time at national and regional firms gave him experience in litigation environments and in supporting clients through complex disputes. He has practiced inside different firm cultures and under varied case loads. Those positions shaped a pragmatic approach to case preparation and client communication.
Doster is admitted to practice in Florida and Texas. That dual admission reflects both his professional moves and the geographical reach of his work. He has represented clients in matters that required coordination across jurisdictions and has navigated procedural differences between state courts.
Colleagues remember him for thorough written work and steady courtroom presence. He has been part of teams that handled contested motions, discovery disputes and trial preparation. He also spent time handling client counseling and pre-suit strategy, tasks that required translating technical material into clear legal positions. His background in physics has proved useful when cases involve technical or scientific questions.
Since founding Doster Law PLLC in 2022 he has run a small practice that draws on his prior firm experience. The office handles matters that arise in both Florida and Texas and serves clients who need experienced counsel across those states. He concentrates on matters arising in Florida and Texas.
