About Karim G.

Karim G. Tabbaa built his legal foundation through two well-regarded universities. He graduated from Emory University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts, then earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2016. Those years shaped his understanding of law and public service, and marked the start of his professional path in Florida’s legal community.

After law school, Tabbaa became licensed to practice in Florida and secured admission to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Those credentials allow him to handle matters in both state and federal forums. He maintains active membership in The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association, and he participates in the Bay County Bar Association. Those memberships keep him connected to colleagues across the state and to developments in practice and procedure.

Colleagues describe Tabbaa as methodical in preparing cases and direct in court. He applies courtroom procedures and written advocacy consistently. Over the years he has navigated filing deadlines, evidentiary disputes, and motion practice in state and federal settings. His experience in those procedural arenas informs how he prepares matters for hearings and trials.

Tabbaa’s practice reflects the dual nature of his admissions. He is authorized to appear before judges in Bay County and elsewhere in Florida, and he is admitted to the federal bench that covers the northern districts of the state. That combination positions him to manage cases that may cross from state courts into federal court or involve federal statutes and civil procedure. He approaches each matter by identifying the applicable jurisdictional and procedural pathways, then moving the case forward in accordance with court rules.

Active participation in local and national bar organizations is part of his professional routine. Membership in the Bay County Bar Association connects him to local practitioners and court personnel. Membership in the American Bar Association and The Florida Bar provides access to continuing legal education and professional resources that inform ongoing practice.

Today, Tabbaa practices at The Tabbaa Firm. He represents clients in matters that proceed in Florida state courts and in the Northern District of Florida, and he manages litigation tasks from pretrial motion work through courtroom proceedings. His current practice centers on handling cases in Florida state and federal courts.
