About Gregory Davis
Gregory Davis Smith built an academic foundation that crosses state and international lines. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Georgia in 2000, completed an MSc in International and European Politics at the University of Edinburgh in 2005, and returned to the University of Georgia for his Juris Doctor in 2006. Those years shaped an outlook that blends local practice with an eye to wider regulatory and political contexts.
Smith began practicing soon after completing law school. He established his own practice under his name in 2009, taking on matters that drew on his economics training and his interest in property and agricultural issues. In 2012 he became a partner at Smith Group, Lawyers at Law, a role that expanded the scale of his client work and firm responsibilities. By 2021 he was serving as president of Owen Title Company, Inc., a position that placed him at the intersection of title operations and transactional law.
