About Gordon Gerhard Van Remmen
Gordon Gerhard Van Remmen II earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, completing a B.A. in 2010 after beginning his studies in 2006. He returned to the same campus for law school, graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law with a J.D. in 2015, having enrolled in 2012. Those years in Athens shaped his legal grounding and prepared him for practice in multiple jurisdictions.
After law school he entered the bar in Georgia and later secured admission to practice in Florida as well. The dual admissions allow him to work on matters that cross state lines and to counsel clients whose issues do not stop at one border. He built early experience handling filings, research and court appearances while adapting to differences between the two states’ procedures and rules.
Van Remmen’s career path led him to join Hall & Lampros, LLP, where he is part of the firm’s group of litigators and counselors. At the firm he takes part in case preparation, discovery strategy and client meetings. He works alongside colleagues who manage a broad docket, and he contributes on cases that require coordination among lawyers in different parts of the Southeast.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in his preparation and attentive to procedural detail. He tends to break complex matters into discrete tasks and to pursue steady progress through calendar-driven litigation steps. In the office he often handles drafting pleadings and motions, and outside the office he spends time preparing witnesses for deposition or trial testimony. That practical work fits the rhythms of firm practice where deadlines and court appearances set the pace.
Van Remmen’s background in both Georgia and Florida gives him perspective on how state law and procedure interact. He applies that perspective when advising clients on next steps, whether that means initiating litigation, responding to a complaint, or seeking a negotiated resolution. His work requires long hours of document review and careful calendar management. He also mentors junior associates on organizing case files and meeting court-imposed deadlines.
He remains based at Hall & Lampros, LLP and handles matters that arise under the laws of Georgia and Florida. He practices in both Georgia and Florida at Hall & Lampros, LLP.
