About Glenn B.

Glenn B. Manishin is an attorney whose career spans private practice and firm leadership. He earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1981 after completing a B.A. at Brandeis University in 1977. Those academic years set a steady foundation for a practice that would cross state lines and reach the federal appellate benches.

He moved into firm practice soon after graduation and spent decades building experience at large law firms. In 2008 he joined Duane Morris LLP as a partner. Four years later he took a partner role at Troutman Sanders LLP in 2012. He became Managing Partner at ParadigmShift Law LLP in 2015, a position that marked a shift into firm management as well as client work. The sequence of partnerships reflects a steady progression through institutional practice and administrative responsibility.

Manishin is admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions. His admissions include the District of Columbia, Virginia and California. He is also admitted to the D.C. Circuit and to the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials allow him to file and argue cases in state courts in several states and in key federal appellate forums. He has handled matters that required appearances at higher levels of the federal judiciary, and his admissions are a practical tool for that work.

Colleagues describe him as a practitioner comfortable in both courtroom settings and firm corridors. His career touches on litigation strategy, appellate briefing and the management tasks that come with running a partnership. He has shifted between roles that emphasize client advocacy and those that require overseeing practice groups and administrative functions. That combination has shaped how he approaches case work and firm leadership.

Across his career he has moved between large firms and an opportunity to lead at ParadigmShift. He has maintained a practice that spans trial and appellate procedures, and he manages the business dimensions of a law firm as part of his professional responsibilities. He continues to practice in the jurisdictions to which he is admitted, handling matters in state courts and federal appellate courts, including the D.C. Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He currently practices across the jurisdictions in which he is admitted and handles matters in federal appellate courts and state courts.
