About Gianna Blaudeau
Gianna Blaudeau Mandich built her legal foundation at Tulane University. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies in Business and Philosophy in 2018. She stayed at Tulane for law school and earned her J.D. in 2021. Her academic coursework included both civil and common law, and she pursued studies in sports law that later led to a certification from Tulane.
Her early practical training mixed private and public sector experience. In 2019 she worked as a summer associate at Geragos & Geraogs, APC, where she gained exposure to litigation processes and firm practice. The following year she served as a clerk to U.S. Lawyer Peter Strasser at the United States Department of Justice. That clerkship placed her inside a federal environment and offered hands-on experience with government filings, legal research and memorandum drafting.
Those roles shaped the next steps in her career. After graduating from law school Mandich relocated to Alabama and took the steps necessary to practice there. Her background in civil and common law gives her a dual perspective on legal problems. She has also continued to draw on her sports-law coursework and her Tulane certification when matters touch on athletic governance, contracts or compliance.
Mandich approaches matters with an emphasis on careful preparation and attention to detail. She has worked on projects that required close statutory and regulatory review, and she has experience preparing documents for both litigation and administrative proceedings. Colleagues note her methodical approach to research and her preference for clear written work that lays out options for clients.
She currently practices at Southern Med Law. In that setting she balances client consultations, case management and court filings. Her practice brings together the strands of her education and early career: civil and common law foundations, federal clerkship experience and an interest in sports-related legal issues. She maintains her license in Alabama and accepts matters consistent with that jurisdiction.
Mandich’s work today centers on providing legal advice, preparing pleadings and representing clients in matters that reflect her training in civil law, common law and sports law.
