He earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1985. Prior to his legal career, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 1980. He represented companies with domestic and international operations in manufacturing, distribution, and service sectors. He advised business clients throughout all stages of their development, from formation and growth to maturity and sale. Before founding MendenFreiman LLP, he began his career as a certified public accountant with Ernst & Young, focusing on the accounting and tax complexities of mergers and acquisitions.
