About Geoff

Geoff Joseph began his legal journey at Florida Coastal School of Law, where he completed his legal studies before entering practice in Florida. His time at law school provided classroom grounding and practical training that prepared him for courtroom work and client representation.

He started his career in the public sector as an Assistant State Lawyer in the State Lawyer's Office for the First Circuit. In that role he handled matters that required regular court appearances and case preparation. The position exposed him to the rhythms of trial work, evidence handling and the procedural demands of state court practice.

After several years in the public sector, Joseph moved into private practice as an associate at Crawford Law. That transition shifted his daily work from government representation to serving private clients. At Crawford Law he took on a variety of responsibilities typical of an associate lawyer, including researching legal issues, drafting pleadings and advising clients on procedural steps. The change also broadened his perspective on how different parts of the legal system interact.

Joseph’s background includes experience on both sides of legal disputes. His time in the State Lawyer's Office sharpened his courtroom skills. Working at a private firm introduced him to the client-management and strategic planning aspects of practice. That combination gives him familiarity with litigation dynamics and the practical demands of running cases through Florida’s courts.

He holds current memberships in professional associations, which keep him connected to peers and developments in the profession. Those affiliations support ongoing learning and provide forums for discussion about procedural updates and case law. Outside the office he has continued to build the practical skills that matter in contested matters and client counseling.

Joseph now works out of Crawford Law and focuses his practice in Florida. He represents clients in matters brought in state courts and handles the drafting and procedural tasks that arise in litigation and related legal work.
