About Gabriel Gustav

Gabriel Gustav Mueller built a route to law that began in science. He earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from Florida State University in 2014 and completed his J.D. at Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 2019. The combination of technical training and legal study shaped how he approaches problems: carefully, and with attention to detail.

While in law school Mueller sought practical experience each summer. In 2017 he worked as a summer intern at Levin Papantonio, where he observed civil litigation and client intake processes. The next year he spent a summer externship with the Shelby County District Lawyer's Office. Those experiences put him in courtrooms and offices, helping him understand both the procedural rhythm of trials and the everyday demands of client representation.

After obtaining his law degree he moved into private practice. He joined Cardoso Law, PLLC as an associate. There he has handled a range of matters for clients subject to Florida law. Colleagues describe him as thorough in preparation and deliberate in courtroom settings. He takes a methodical approach to discovery and document review, and he pays attention to how technical facts fit into legal arguments.

Mueller’s early academic background in environmental science sometimes informs the cases he takes. Scientific training taught him to evaluate evidence and question assumptions. In practice that translates into careful examination of reports, records, and expert testimony. He often serves as a bridge between technical sources and legal strategy when cases call for it.

He maintains memberships in local and state bar organizations. He is a current member of the Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association and of The Florida Bar. Those affiliations keep him connected to regional practitioners and to developments in Florida law. He participates in local bar activities and uses those connections to stay current on procedural changes and court decisions.

Mueller’s work remains rooted in the state where he studied and now practices. He continues to build experience at Cardoso Law, PLLC, handling matters for clients across Florida and applying both his legal training and scientific background to client problems. He currently focuses his practice on civil matters arising under Florida law.
