About Gary

Gary Englander built his path to the law through local schools and steady courtroom work. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 2007 and completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University in 2010. Those years set the groundwork for a practice centered on accident and injury matters.

His early legal career moved quickly through several Florida firms. In 2011 he joined Conrad & Scherer, LLP as a lawyer, gaining exposure to civil litigation. He spent 2013 at The Law Office of Anidjar & Levine and then worked as a trial lawyer at Thomas & Pearl in 2014. Each stop added trial experience and familiarity with injury claims, depositions and courtroom procedure.

In 2015 he became a partner at Englander Peebles, Accident & Injury Lawyers. The move put him in a leadership role in a firm that handles accident and injury cases. He brings courtroom experience developed over years of litigating personal injury matters. He is admitted to practice in Florida and in several federal venues, including the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Professional memberships have been a consistent part of his career. He holds current memberships in the American Association for Justice, the Broward County Bar Association and the Broward County Justice Association. His federal court admissions began in 2011 at the Southern District of Florida and continued with the Eleventh Circuit in 2012 and the United States Supreme Court in 2014. Earlier in his career he was a member of the Florida Justice Association and the American Bar Association. He has been active in the Fort Lauderdale community as well, serving as president of the Fort Lauderdale Evening Rotary Club from 2013 to 2014.

Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who relies on courtroom experience rather than on grand claims. He has navigated the progression from associate roles to partnership and from local practice to federal admissions. He continues to handle litigation and trial work at Englander Peebles, Accident & Injury Lawyers, where his practice concentrates on accident and injury cases.
